Job summary

MAC Recruit Group Ltd in Aberdeen is partnering with an established technology business to hire a Product Manager for their growing digital team. You’ll be the hub between customers, stakeholders and engineering, shaping the roadmap and delivering products that solve real problems.

This hybrid role requires two days in the Aberdeen office and regular travel to client sites. You’ll participate in agile ceremonies, lead discovery conversations, and demonstrate the platform in sales meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management or a similar role.
• Confident in client-facing roles, leading discovery conversations and demos.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Data-driven decision making with analytics tools such as Power BI.
• Interest in building products that solve customer problems and deliver business value.
• Full UK driving licence for travel to client and company locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends and business priorities.
• Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and identify opportunities.
• Use data and analytics to support product decisions and prioritisation.
• Define and prioritise new features and enhancements.
• Represent the product in customer and sales meetings, including demonstrating the platform and answering questions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Monitor competitors, industry trends and emerging technologies.

We’re working with an established technology business in Aberdeen to find a Product Manager to join their growing digital team.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the centre of product development — working closely with customers, stakeholders, engineering and delivery teams to build products that solve real problems.

The Role

As Product Manager, you'll act as the link between customers, stakeholders and technical teams.

You'll help shape the product roadmap, making decisions around what gets built, why it's being built and how it delivers value to customers.

You'll be involved across the full product lifecycle, from understanding customer needs and defining features through to prioritisation, delivery and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have:

• A data-driven approach to decision making, with experience using Power BI or similar analytics tools.
• A genuine interest in building products that solve customer problems and deliver business value.
• A full UK driving licence, as travel to client and company locations will be required.

Location & Travel

Hybrid role, with 2 days per week based in the Aberdeen office and regular travel to client sites as required.
