Job summary

Booking.com seeks a Junior Legal Counsel - Product to provide timely legal support to Trips product teams (Cars, Rides, Attractions) and help shape responsible product development. You'll partner with Product, Engineering and Data teams to identify risks and craft compliant, scalable guidance across initiatives.

The role blends day-to-day product counsel with workstreams, playbooks and training materials to enable teams to self-serve on recurring questions and improve cross-functional

Qualifications

• Law degree with practising qualification or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years post-qualification in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience in tech, platform, marketplace, travel or commercial law is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise product teams on concepts, journeys, requirements, UX, pricing and disclosures.
• Identify regulatory risks including privacy, consumer protection and competition.
• Provide practical, options-led advice balancing risk and customer experience.
• Manage routine matters with oversight from senior counsel for high-risk issues.
• Draft and update customer terms, disclosures and partner communications.
• Support risk triage and document decisions for product initiatives.
