The Role:

We’re looking for a commercially minded, proactive, and delivery-focused Product Lead to take ownership of our Current Account offering. With P&L responsibility, you’ll lead on all aspects of product management – shaping strategy, driving enhancements, improving user experience, and ensuring compliance and risk are effectively managed. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across technology, operations, finance, and the front line, while championing the voice of the customer in everything we do.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage the delivery of human digital propositions from concept to launch, aligned with the bank’s product strategy and vision for the future of banking
  • Manage the current account product roadmap, informed by market trends, customer insights, and strategic priorities
  • Use data and reporting to build a deeper understanding of customer needs and identify opportunities to enhance their experience
  • Ensure positive customer outcomes across the entire product lifecycle
  • Align product development and delivery with Cynergy Bank’s strategic goals
  • Manage internal communication plans to support product launches and ongoing engagement working with Marketing for external and customer communications
  • Monitor and analyse product performance, including P&L, customer usage, and key success metrics
  • Understand and manage regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements relevant to the product
  • Collaborate across business areas and digital channels to strengthen the overall customer proposition, including open banking, online, and mobile channels
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure seamless delivery and fulfilment of product experiences
  • Act as a champion for both customers and colleagues, ensuring their voices shape product direction and decision-making

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of P&L, and commercial drivers
  • Previous experience of Current Account product / proposition development
  • Understanding and application of regulatory requirements and frameworks
  • Strategic planning
  • Stakeholder influencing and collaboration.
  • Comfortable presenting complex ideas in a clear and concise way to stakeholders at various levels

Desirable Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of data structure and SQL will be an advantage
  • University Degree (Preferred)
