About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Product Innovation, the Product Innovation Manager helps develop, deliver, and evolve our educational portfolio - including regulated and non-regulated products and pathways for managers and leaders - and our Chartered brand.

This delivery-focused role rapidly advances ideas from concept to prototype by leveraging Learning Experience (LX) principles and market testing to create high-impact, outcome-driven educational pathways that showcase our Chartered USP.

Responsibilities:
  • Market Testing & Validation: Test new products, learning frameworks, and chartered pathways in-market. Engage employers, universities, providers, and learners to gather customer feedback, validate needs, and refine propositions.
  • Product Design: Translate high-level strategic opportunities into clear, relevant, and actionable learning product specifications and frameworks.
  • UX/LX & Product Requirements: Convert strategic opportunities into customer-centric product specifications, learner journeys, and curriculum frameworks using strong UX/LX principles.
  • Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Lead fast-paced development using rapid prototyping of learning programmes. Iterate and improve products based on pilot outcomes and user feedback.
  • Data Analysis & AI Utilisation: Use data and AI to analyse engagement and product use, evaluate pilots, run experiments, and demonstrate value to education providers and learners.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with research, sales, marketing, membership, and compliance to ensure launch-ready, scalable educational products.
About you:

We are an inclusive employer and welcome all diverse backgrounds, where individuality is celebrated, creating both a forward-thinking team and a supportive space for everyone in the CMI team. We actively invite applications from diverse cultures and experience.

We want someone who is ‘Passionate’ in making a positive difference to the skills of managers and leaders, ‘Practical’; with the ability to make quick and smart decisions, ‘Progressive’ about creating a better future and maintaining a ‘Professional’ code of conduct, through being accountable and ethical in everything that we do.
  • Product Management: Proven experience in fast-paced, end-to-end product development. Background in education, learning design, EdTech, or skills development is highly beneficial.
  • LX & User-Centric Design: Translates employer and learner needs, insights, and feedback into engaging curriculum frameworks, products and propositions.
  • Market Testing & Prototyping: Extensive experience in rapid prototyping in educational and/or professional training settings to quickly bring impactful products to market.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled at using data to derive insights, establish metrics, and drive continuous product refinement
