An exciting opportunity has arisen with aleading global investment management firmto join their product team as aProduct Governance Specialist. This is an ideal role for candidates seeking to enter aglobal team, working across multiple vehicles and structures to assist with thedevelopment and management of existing and prospective fund ranges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure investment products and strategies comply with SFDR and SDR regulations. Monitor changes in regulations and update internal processes and documentation as needed.
- Manage fund article upgrades & downgrades.
- Oversee communications withthird-party service providerssuch ascustodiansandadministrators.
- Work with the Compliance team tooversee all fund distributorsto ensure funds arecompliant in their respective jurisdictions.
- Produce, oversee and review fund templates and reports [EMTs, EPTs, SFDRreportsetc.] and fund documentation [PRIIP KIDs & UCITS KIIDs].
- Support thelaunch and closure of funds and share classesand also closelymonitor market regulatory changesandadvise on relevant fund changes.
- Lead on liaison with the AIFM; ensure reports are received from itsdelegatesand are distributed to theboardandrelevant funds.
Candidate Profile:
- 3 – 5 yrs’experience in afund services role. Asset management experience preferred, however candidates from consultancy/paralegal/FCA/third party service providers backgrounds will also be considered.
- Demonstrated understanding offund structuresand avariety of asset classes.
- Previous experience working withthird-party serviceproviders such asadministratorsandcustodians.
- Previous experience in the production and oversight ofPRIIPS KIDs&UCITS KIIDs.
- Previous experience withinAIFM reportinghighly desirable.
