Job summary

Wayve is hiring a cloud-based Software Engineer (Product, AI Portal) in London. This role targets a product-minded engineer who enjoys building fast with care, maintaining and expanding systems, and working closely with customers and partners.

You will own multiple services across the Portal, with ownership of production quality and customer experience. You will work across the stack—backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and cloud infrastructure—with a focus on delivering reliable,

Qualifications

Strong software engineering experience across production systems.
Experience building enterprise SaaS, B2B platforms, or customer-facing production systems.
Product-minded with focus on user problems and stakeholder communication.
Experience with on-call, incident response or support rotation for a production system.

Responsibilities

Build and operate software products used by Wayve staff and our autonomy partners.
Develop services, APIs, integrations, and user interfaces across the Portal platform.
Work across microservices, web frontends, cloud infrastructure, and partner-facing systems.
Improve the reliability, observability, and operability of the Portal platform.
Triage and resolve production issues, including on-call rotation.
Solve problems end-to-end: understand user needs, design, build, ship, and keep running.
