Do you possess strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive data-driven solutions? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for the Data and Analytics role in Mars's Global Pet Nutrition (PN) division.

Pet Nutrition (PN) is a vibrant FMCG sector. As part of our Digital First program, we aim to put pet parents at the center, digitalize business processes, and develop capabilities to achieve growth and pet parent centricity. This initiative requires scalable digitization, thought leadership, technical know-how, and the ability to navigate complex challenges while leading a team of data and analytics professionals.

The role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines and storage solutions to support analytics and machine learning initiatives, reporting to the Director of Data Engineering Solutions, and collaborating globally with engineering teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership to data and DevOps engineers.
• Designing and evolving scalable data platforms and assets.
• Establishing engineering standards, patterns, and frameworks.
• Driving DataOps adoption to improve operational efficiency.
• Embedding governance, security, and data quality practices.
• Collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to align data priorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Expertise in Commercial/Procurement Analytics and SAP (S/4 Hana).
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, or similar tools.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL, and big data technologies.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with DataOps practices and tools, including CI/CD.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
