Job Description: Data and Analytics Leader at Mars Pet Nutrition

Are you passionate about Data and Analytics (D&A) and excited about transforming enterprise operations? Do you possess strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive data-driven solutions? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for the Data and Analytics role within Mars Pet Nutrition (PN).

Pet Nutrition is a vibrant FMCG sector category. As part of our Digital First program, we aim to place pet parents at the center of our initiatives, digitalize business processes, and build capabilities for growth, profitability, and customer centricity. This role requires thought leadership, decision-making skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to lead a team of top-tier data and analytics professionals.

The role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines and storage solutions to support analytics and machine learning projects. You will report to the Director of Data Engineering Solutions and collaborate with global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership: Lead data and DevOps engineers, guide the design and evolution of scalable data platforms, and promote best practices in data engineering.
2. Engineering Standards: Establish and maintain standards, patterns, and frameworks for data engineering, ensuring quality and reusability.
3. DataOps Enablement: Implement DataOps principles, establish CI/CD pipelines, and improve operational efficiency and reliability of data pipelines.
4. Data Governance and Quality: Integrate governance, security, and quality practices into workflows, define access controls, and ensure data trustworthiness.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with leadership and product owners to prioritize data initiatives that maximize value.
