Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a senior leader to transform a complex, fragmented technical estate into an automated, high‑performing environment across hybrid cloud, private and public cloud, network topologies, and key hardware.

You will own the operating model, drive estate stabilization, and mature resilience and disaster recovery with measurable RTO/RPO, while enabling on‑demand provisioning via IaC/EaC and observability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading enterprise-scale environment estates across hybrid cloud and physical/network infrastructure.
• Hands-on IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SRE, SLIs/SLOs, toil reduction, release management, and HA/DR design.
• Cost/value storytelling, documentation, and leadership in matrixed environments.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will take lead in transforming a complex, fragmented technical estate into an automated, high-performing environment. Operating within an enterprise-scale hybrid framework, you will streamline dev, test, and production environments across private cloud, public cloud, network topologies, and specialized physical hardware.

Your Impact

• Operating Model Transformation: Clarify responsibilities across SDLC and SRE functions to define clean ownership, clear interfaces, and improved throughput.
• Estate Stabilization: Improve availability, consistency, and provision lead times-especially across environments integrated with physical hardware.
• Resilience & Disaster Recovery: Mature High Availability posture, resolve critical risks, and establish tested recovery capabilities with defensible RTO/RPO metrics.
• Automation & Self-Service: Drive Infrastructure/Environments as Code (IaC/EaC), automated provisioning, and observability to enable on-demand instantiation.

Your Experience

• Professional Background: Proven track record leading enterprise-scale environment estates, spanning hybrid cloud and physical/network infrastructure.
• Automation & Tooling: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Environment-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks.
• SRE, SDLC & DR Depth: Strong understanding of SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs, toil reduction), release management, and High Availability/Disaster Recovery design and testing.
• Key Competencies: Financial and commercial acumen to build cost/value narratives, strong documentation skills, and structured leadership in matrixed environments.
