Job summary

Latitude Recruitment's engineering client in Hedge End is seeking a Product Engineer to join on-site and contribute to new product introduction, prototype testing, and documentation.

The successful candidate will have a background in product, service, or manufacturing engineering, with experience in BOMs, certifications, and 3D CAD/3D printing.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on experience.

• Experience with BOMs and certification processes.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools and 3D printing.
• Ability to collate reports and validate documentation.

• Lead New Product Introduction activities.

• Deal with BOMs and materials management.
• Intervene and perform root cause analysis.
• Utilise 3D printing and CAD tools for prototyping.

Job description

Our engineering client is looking for a product engineer to work from their Hedge end site. This represents an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation.

The job role will involve the following duties:

• New Product Introduction
• Testing prototypes
• Collating written reports
• Validating & checking certification
• Dealing with BOM`s
• Intervention and quality checks, root cause analysis
• 3D printing - 3D CAD, AutoCAD

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a product engineer environment. The successful candidate will have a product engineer, service engineer or manufacturing engineering background.

Hours:

08:00am - 16:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Salary:

£40,000p/a - £45,000p/a
