Job summary

Job description

This is an opportunity for a Software Engineer to work on a genuinely AI-native product in a company that is expanding rapidly after having undergone a huge series A round of funding, they are building systems that are completely changing how large organisations operate. You’ll be joining a small engineering team with a high technical bar where you’ll have significant ownership over what gets built and how it reaches customers.

The role is deliberately broad. You might lean towards backend engineering, product development or full-stack work, but the expectation is that you’re comfortable getting involved across the product when needed. You’ll take ideas from initial research and requirements through experimentation, implementation and iteration, with direct exposure to customers and the problems they’re trying to solve.

You’ll be working with AI as a core part of the product rather than simply adding AI features onto an existing platform. Experience building agentic systems is particularly relevant, whether that has come from previous roles, personal projects or side projects. Strong engineering fundamentals, good product instincts and an interest in how AI systems behave, fail and improve are key.

The technical environment includes React, Vite and TanStack on the frontend, with Kotlin on the backend, benefiting from the wider Java ecosystem. The platform also uses Temporal and PortKey for durable execution and enterprise-compliant LLM routing, alongside a specialised LLM harness designed around reliability, governance and enterprise control.

You’ll have genuine ownership from concept through to production, working closely with engineers and customers while helping shape the direction of the product. It’s a particularly good fit for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining, moves quickly, and wants to see their work have a direct impact.
