About the Role

ICIS is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the Insight & Hindsight portfolios—the strategic cornerstone of ICIS’ product ecosystem. This leadership role drives product strategy across multiple domains, manages a team of product managers, and influences business outcomes through innovative product development and go-to-market execution. You will own the commercial roadmap for Insight (current market intelligence, pricing and fundamental data) and Hindsight analytics (historical data, market retrospectives, and more). You will work with AI and machine learning, lead a high-performing team, and consider the right channel mix to deliver intelligence to customers wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership
  • Define and execute comprehensive product strategy for Insight & Hindsight portfolios, balancing organisational needs with customer requirements to drive significant commercial outcomes
  • Set the strategic agenda for multiple product domains and drive programme execution across complex, interconnected systems
  • Propose new business models, pricing strategies and provide critical input on 'build vs buy' decisions
  • Establish, manage and drive to achieve the business objectives for the Insight and Hindsight focused portfolio
Customer & Market Focus
  • Interact extensively with customers to understand their business challenges and use cases in depth
  • Thoroughly understand competitive products and strategy, and how they influence customer decision-making
  • Predict trends within customer segments and apply deep knowledge of how value is perceived across different market segments
  • Drive customer-centric product development through hypothesis-driven evaluation strategies from the customer challenges that matter
Team Leadership & Development
  • Develop, manage and recruit a team of product managers, taking direct responsibility for their growth and performance
  • Coach and mentor team members while establishing a culture of data-driven decision making
  • Ensure the team follows agile and lean methodologies while driving process improvement initiatives
Go-to-Market Excellence
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies and launch plans, ensuring coordinated execution across product, sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams
  • Take accountability for ROI of go-to-market initiatives, including revenue goal achievement
  • Evangelise products to sales teams, customers and media while developing clear value propositions by segment and persona
Technical & Data Leadership
  • Drive formulation of overall research and testing strategy, ensuring all product decisions are data-driven
  • Champion AI and emerging technology integration for internal optimization and customer value creation
  • Oversee strategy, planning and execution across web, cloud and data integration channels

Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Expert-level customer analytics capabilities with ability to identify the right data for decision-making
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies, platform relationships, and technology trade-offs
  • Experience with AI/ML integration and application in product development
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and modern product development practices

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to build relationships across organisations and guide towards desired outcomes in matrixed environments
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
