Our mobile app, highly rated on the App Store and Google Play, is evolving from a servicing platform to an all-in-one financial solution with the upcoming launch of our Current Account.

Team Structure

1. App Experience Team: Focuses on app design, information architecture, and user engagement.
2. Platform Team: Ensures platform resilience, security, and high availability.
3. Open Banking Team: Facilitates seamless account connectivity and money transfer capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic direction of the mobile app in alignment with company goals.
• Translate strategy into a clear product roadmap, overseeing development and delivery.
• Lead and energize cross-functional teams, challenging existing processes to meet objectives.
• Ensure high standards of app design and user experience, benchmarking against industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering to maintain a secure, robust platform, making informed technology choices.
• Utilize data and metrics to monitor performance and inform continuous improvements.
• Manage risks and controls associated with the app, aligning with Zopa’s risk appetite.
• Build and develop a capable team to realize the product vision, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Contribute to the broader product community within Zopa to attract and retain talent.

About You

• Proven experience leading scalable app products, preferably in 'app first' businesses, not limited to financial services.
• Deep expertise in app product development, with a track record of delivering impactful app experiences.
• Strong strategic thinking and execution skills, with the ability to drive key outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly analytical, with proficiency in using data to drive decisions and optimize app performance.
