Product Development Technician

Workshop based, commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Ripley, Alfreton and surrounding areas.

Salary: £29,000-£34,000 + Workshop Based + Days Shift Pattern, Monday to Friday (6:00am-3:30pm) + Training Opportunities + Career Progression + Holiday + Pension.

This company has been established for over 15 years and has close to 70 staff; they are known by their customers as quality-driven experts and boast a low staff turnover.

Responsibilities:

1. Service, test, and fault find on electronic hardware products.
2. Involved in research and development projects.
3. Testing, repair, service, and refurbishment of telecoms hardware products.
4. Workshop based, in Heanor.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Electronic qualifications and interest in working in the engineering industry.
2. Ability or experience in fault finding down to component level.
3. Electronic Engineer/Test Engineer/Bench Technician/PCB Technician or similar backgrounds considered.
4. Recently graduated Electronic/Electrical Engineers are encouraged to apply and will be provided training.
5. Holding either Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering qualifications (e.g. Degree, HNC, HND, BTEC, NVQ, City and Guilds etc).
