Yuzefi – Part-Time Product Development Manager Womenswear (Clothing)

Location: London / Hybrid

Hours: 2–3 days per week (flexible; occasional extra days during peak periods)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Womens Clothing Product Development Manager to join Yuzefi on a part-time basis, working across our woven and knitwear RTW garments collections. Yuzefi’s design approach is unconventional and non-conformist, blending sculptural forms, unexpected silhouettes, and experimental details. The ideal candidate must have the technical expertise to translate these distinctive designs into wearable garments, while clearly and effectively communicating these complex specifications to overseas manufacturers. This role requires a combination of garment technology mastery, problem-solving skills, and strong supplier communication, ensuring that Yuzefi’s bold design vision is faithfully executed in every piece.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full product development lifecycle for woven and knitwear RTW collections, from design through to production.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all tech packs, fittings, and production samples meet Yuzefi’s quality and design standards.
• Maintain project timelines, escalating issues where necessary to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Respond to supplier queries promptly and maintain clear communication channels.
• Organise and track all garment specs, samples, and approvals
• Support fit sessions, provide clear and constructive feedback to suppliers, and ensure garments meet intended fit and silhouette.
• Flexibly adjust workload based on project demands, sometimes working more than 3 days per week if needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Development Manager in fashion, ideally in luxury RTW.
• Strong knowledge of garment technology for both wovens and knits.
• Highly organised with exceptional time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Zedonk (or similar PLM/production management systems).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly and effectively to supplier queries.
• Comfortable reporting to both a Founder and Head of Production, taking initiative to manage projects independently.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to changing workloads.
