If so, we would love you to join our team as a Product Development Manager on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract- To lead the planning and execution of consolidation transfer & VRE projects to financial commitments and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget

More About The Role

Develop and implement a project plan to deliver The Body Shops consolidation & VRE initiatives. Ensure that all relevant internal and external stakeholders are engaged and onboarded to the project. Manage interdependencies, risks, and opportunities, ensuring that timelines and costs of change are maintained according to plan. Lead business development efforts and obtain necessary approvals where required. Track project progress by identifying and mitigating risks, while ensuring adherence to milestones. Produce reports that analyze project performance and provide insights to inform decision-making. Establish project governance to ensure that stakeholders, including leadership, are aware of the project's status and risks. Lead all necessary meetings, including Steering Committee meetings, project meetings, and financial reviews. Gold Seal / internal product approval processesDevelop a clear communication plan for internal and external stakeholdersMeet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis. Propose initiatives to enhance our effectiveness and impact. Consistently challenge the status quo. Champion, support and participate in The Body Shops Values.Ensure that the project achieves a balanced combination of functionality and simplicity. Foster a winning spirit among all teams involved.

What We Look For

Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.Strong Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence others.Proven experience in managing complex projects, ideally with the focus on organisational change or transformation.Over 5 years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, preferably with in-depth knowledge of the beauty industry and product innovation and development processes.Proven experience in budgetary control.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying, assessing and mitigating risks.Knowledge of project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, Centric PLM).Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall, and practical experience in applying these methodologies.
