Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions requires a Product Development Engineer to join a busy team at their Warwickshire manufacturing facility. You will own hands-on development across concept, design, testing, compliance and production, and work through the full product lifecycle.

Applicants should have an engineering qualification (HNC/HND or similar), experience with gas/electrical systems, and strong test/verification skills; excellent communication and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on product development across the lifecycle (concept to production).
Experience with testing, verification or compliance.
Ability to translate requirements into manufacturable solutions.
Strong written and oral communication for technical reports.

Responsibilities

Develop gas, electrical and combined-fuel systems for domestic appliances.
Translate briefs and requirements into practical solutions.
Create and deliver comprehensive product test plans and documentation.
Set up and manage compliance testing with external bodies.
Analyse test results to influence design decisions.
Lead internal projects with timelines and stakeholders.
Collaborate with Design, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Quality and Marketing.
