Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience

An excellent opportunity for a Product Engineer to join an award-winning manufacturing company based in Coleraine. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design and re-design of new and existing products.

The Role:

Leading the introduction of internally designed products into the business.
Developing ideas from concept through to manufacture by creating 3D CAD models.
Creating and modifying technical drawings and product specifications, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product costings to enable manufacture.
Selecting and sourcing appropriate third-party components to be used with designs.
Ensuring newly developed products comply with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and performance levels specified for safety, function, and reliability.
Aiding production in the development of jigs/fixtures to support the manufacture of newly designed products.
Participating in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The Person:

Degree in a related subject.
8+ years’ design experience gained within either a construction or manufacturing environment.
High degree of proficiency with 3D modelling software and technical drawing for sheet metal design; SolidEdge preferred.
