Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Innovation Developer to join a collaborative team focused on advancing technology within the energy sector. This role involves designing and developing AI-powered solutions aligned with the organisation’s commitment to sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proof-of-Concept (POC) Development & Prototyping: Design and develop scalable prototypes and POCs demonstrating new ideas, integrating AI with front-end and back-end systems.
2. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: Build and deploy AI/ML models to extract insights from energy data, improve operations, and enhance customer systems.
3. Full-Stack Development: Deliver end-to-end software solutions, including user interfaces, APIs, and server infrastructure.
4. Technical Innovation: Use advanced tech such as large language models, computer vision, and data science to solve complex challenges and foster digital innovation.
5. Agile Development: Apply agile practices to iterate quickly, incorporate feedback, and ensure high-quality code.
6. Cloud and DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on AWS or Azure, using CI/CD pipelines and containerisation.
7. User Interface & AI Interaction: Contribute to designing intuitive user experiences and AI interaction patterns with clear data visualisations.
8. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and communicate technical capabilities, ensuring solutions meet business needs.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in AI/ML model development and deployment
• Strong full-stack software development background
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps tools
• Proven ability to develop prototypes and POCs
• Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
