You will be responsible for driving the development of products from concept through to release, obsessing over customer experience while ensuring the products make commercial sense.

You will be full of fresh ideas, bring creative energy, and collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality, creative products.

Sculpd is on a mission to make crafts cool again

In 2020, we set out to reinvent pottery, which was traditionally confined to trained ceramicists and trendy cafes. We aimed to make it accessible and affordable for everyone, rekindling the joy of creating with your hands.

We built our brand around the idea that everyone is crafty in their own way, inspiring people to create and connect through crafts.

Since our launch, we've grown an audience of over 1 million on social media and have served more than half a million happy customers globally. We are expanding from pottery into other crafts and aim to make modern crafts a part of everyday life.

The role and how you’ll be working

• As the Product Development Manager at Sculpd, you will shape the product's direction and impact the company's success as we disrupt the crafts industry.
• You’ll lead the development and launch of new products from concept to market.
• Use consumer insights and trend analysis to inform the product development roadmap.
• Develop product strategies aligned with brand, business goals, and customer needs, managing a pipeline of innovations.
• Incorporate customer feedback into product improvements continuously.
• Present innovative product ideas, considering customer experience, costs, margins, and business strategy.
• Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life.
• Manage all aspects of product development, including artwork proofing, content accuracy, and compliance requirements.
• Work with manufacturing partners to source materials and components.
• Ensure products meet financial targets while maintaining quality and design standards.
• Project manage from concept to launch, meeting milestones and coordinating stakeholders.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar product development role, preferably in a fast-growing direct-to-consumer business.
• Strong commercial awareness combined with creative flair.
• Excellent communication skills to explain concepts to diverse teams and partners.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.

About the role
