The Role

As a Product Developer, you\'ll take the lead in the design, development, and improvement of qualifications and assessment products across the organisation\'s portfolio. You will:

• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and maintain qualifications that align with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure all products meet Ofqual General Conditions, and other EPAO and awarding body compliance requirements including those from DfE and Skills England.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Produce key qualification documentation such as assessment strategies, centre guides, and sample assessment materials.
• Use data to analyse qualification performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to expand provision and respond to emerging skills needs in the market.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise in qualification design. You will have:

• Experience working within an EPAO, awarding body, or similar education setting.
• Strong understanding of qualification and assessment development processes.
• Proven project management skills, ideally supported by APM-PMQ or PRINCE2 certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset with a commitment to quality and innovation.
