We are looking for a Product Developer to join us at Sculpd to help develop the next range of innovative products to enable people to get back in touch with their crafty side.

You will be responsible for driving the development of products from concept through to release, obsessing over customer experience, and ensuring the products make commercial sense.

In 2020, we set out to reinvent pottery, making it more accessible and affordable for everyone, moving beyond traditional studios and cafes.

We built a brand around the idea that everyone is crafty in their own way, inspiring people to create and connect through crafts.

The role and how you’ll be working

• As the Product Development Manager at Sculpd, you will shape the product direction and contribute to the company's success as we disrupt the craft industry.
• You’ll lead the development and launch of new products from concept to market.
• Analyze trends and consumer insights to inform the product development roadmap.
• Create product roadmaps aligned with brand strategy, business goals, and customer needs, managing a pipeline of innovations and improvements.
• Gather and incorporate customer feedback into product development.
• Present innovative product ideas, considering customer experience, costs, margins, and overall strategy.
• Collaborate with the design team to realize concepts.
• Manage all aspects of product development, including artwork proofing, content accuracy, imagery, barcodes, and batch codes.
• Ensure compliance with testing and labeling requirements.
• Work with manufacturing partners to source materials and packaging.
• Ensure products meet financial targets while considering design and manufacturing costs.
• Manage projects from concept to launch, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders are aligned.

Description of the candidate we’re looking for

• A passionate creative with a love for business and product quality.
• Deep understanding of customer experience and a keen eye for detail.
• A self-starter capable of owning projects from start to finish.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar product development role, preferably in a fast-growing DTC business.
• Strong commercial awareness combined with creative flair.
• Excellent communication skills to explain concepts to diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers and manufacturers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
