Job summary

Cheddar is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to lead end-to-end design for its mobile and web products from research through final UI execution. You will craft intuitive, high-converting user journeys, translate fintech data into accessible interfaces, and collaborate closely with product, engineering and growth to align design with business goals.

You will own and evolve the design system in Figma, conduct user research and A/B testing, and stay ahead of fintech UX trends while considering

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX/UI experience in a high-growth B2C app.
• Proven ability to design and ship world-class mobile and web experiences.
• Expertise in Figma and a strong portfolio.
• Experience in fintech, especially open banking or personal finance apps.
• Deep understanding of UX best practices, usability testing, and conversion optimisation.
• Strong collaboration with product managers, engineers and marketers.
• Based in London with ability to work in a hybrid setting.

• Not only make a design that delights,but also consider implementation by the development team, with an understanding of common hurdles of mobile and web development.

Qualifications

3+ years of UX/UI experience, ideally in a high-growth B2C app environment.

Proven ability to design and ship world-class mobile and web experiences.

Expertise in Figma and a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design.

Experience in fintech, especially open banking or personal finance apps, is a plus.

A deep understanding of UX best practices, usability testing, and conversion optimisation.

Strong collaboration skills – ability to work with product managers, engineers, and marketers.

Based in London or surrounding areas with the ability to work in a hybrid setting.
