WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Designer to join our Innovation and Prototyping Lab.

In this role, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of products at Choreograph. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where the ability to iterate and refine designs based on feedback and evolving requirements with limited discovery is essential.

You will collaborate with researchers, developers, and stakeholders to rapidly develop innovative designs that address complex challenges and meet evolving user needs. Your expertise in design methods and tools will be instrumental in creating compelling and functional prototypes that meet the needs of our target audiences.

Note: This is a UK-based role and requires individuals to have the right to work in this location.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  1. Rapid Prototyping: Develop a robust set of design templates and components that align with our technical framework, enabling efficient and effective prototype creation.
  2. User-Centric Design: Synthesize user research and analysis to uncover insights that inform design decisions and ensure products meet user needs.
  3. Adaptability and Agility: Thrive in a fast-paced environment where design decisions must often be made with limited upfront discovery. Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and iterate on designs based on ongoing feedback.
  4. Innovation and Experimentation: Embrace a culture of experimentation and iterative design to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of what is possible.
  5. Design Thinking: Apply design thinking principles to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions.
  6. Agile Methodology: Work seamlessly within cross-functional agile teams to understand project briefs and user requirements to deliver high-quality designs on tight timelines.
  7. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, both verbally and visually. Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
  8. Prioritization and Time Management: Manage competing priorities and effectively allocate your time to deliver projects on schedule.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze user and business research data.
  • A passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of design.
  • Experience in marketing and media is a plus.
BONUS POINTS
  • Experience with prototyping tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards.
