Job description

our client is seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer to help shape the future of music discovery. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to craft engaging musical experiences for millions of users worldwide, as well as for emerging and established artists and business partners.

As a Product Designer, you will be part of a dynamic international, cross-functional team, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver intuitive, visually compelling, and innovative experiences. Your work will directly impact how users interact with music across multiple platforms, including web, iOS, and Android.

Key Responsibilities
Design & User Experience:
  1. Lead the end-to-end design process, from ideation and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design and prototyping.
  2. Develop user-centered design solutions that align with the clients brand identity, tone of voice, and interaction patterns.
  3. Maintain a strong visual design aesthetic while ensuring usability and accessibility best practices are met.
  4. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  5. Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale through strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Participate in and contribute to design critiques, stakeholder presentations, and user research discussions.
Innovation & Problem-Solving:
  1. Identify and solve UX challenges by leveraging research, data, and industry best practices.
  2. Explore new ways to enhance music discovery and engagement experiences.
  3. Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX, design systems, and emerging technologies to push the boundaries of digital music interaction.

Qualifications & Skills

3+ years of experience in UI/UX or product design, preferably in consumer-facing applications.

• A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work for mobile and web platforms.

• Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, Framer, or similar).

• Solid understanding of design systems, interaction design, and accessibility principles.

• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineers and product managers.

• Familiarity with music, entertainment, or media-related industries is a plus.
