Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week (Flexible Working Hours)

Product Designer required for a leading furniture manufacturer due to company growth and a focus on new product development. This is a great opportunity for a product designer looking for a creative role.

This role would suit a Product Designer with experience designing soft fitting furniture. You will need experience using 2D and 3D CAD software and experience working on multiple projects at a time.

The successful candidate will be joining a small R&D team working on the development of both new and existing products. You will work with SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create models and sketches.

The Product Designer Role

• Design of furniture from concept using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Ensure product concepts are feasible
• Material selection to ensure high quality products
• Research market trends and identify market gaps
• Creation and oversight of prototypes
• Project documentation including BOMs, specifications etc.
