Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week (Flexible Working Hours)

Product Designer required for a leading furniture manufacturer due to company growth and a focus on new product development. This is a great opportunity for a product designer looking for a creative role.

This role would suit a Product Designer with experience designing soft fitting furniture. You will need experience using 2D and 3D CAD software and experience working on multiple projects at a time.

The successful candidate will be joining a small R&D team working on the development of both new and existing products. You will work with SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create models and sketches.

The Product Designer Role:

Design of furniture from concept using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Ensure product concepts are feasible
Material selection to ensure high quality products
Research market trends and identify market gaps
Creation and oversight of prototypes
Project documentation including BOMs, specifications etc.

The Product Designer Candidate:

Experience with furniture design
CAD experience
