Job description

ISS are now seeking a Product Designer to work across different departments to ensure all standardised collateral, commercial materials, and sales documentation are in place ahead of each product launch.

The Product Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping and launching sustainability-focused products and services within one of the UK's largest providers of Facilities Services. This is a newly created position which offers the opportunity to build processes from the ground up.

Job Description

As the Product Designer, you’ll liaise with subject matter experts, commercial teams, and operational leads to bring sustainability solutions from concept to deployment—ensuring everything is strategically aligned and ready for execution.

While the operational teams will handle delivery, you will be responsible for orchestrating the development process, working with external agencies, and ensuring seamless integration across our client's business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop an insight-driven catalogue of market-ready products and services
  2. Oversee product evolution to maintain market relevance and profitability
  3. Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment
  4. Ensure all products have necessary collateral, including playbooks, SOPs, templates, and marketing materials
  5. Maintain the Product & Service SharePoint pages and supporting case studies
  6. Provide guidance to design teams and external agencies for product development
  7. Support bid solutioning with new and existing products to meet customer needs
  8. Ensure innovations are scalable, tested, and included in the product portfolio
  9. Work with Data Governance and IT teams to ensure systems support product delivery and data collection

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  1. Previous experience working in/managing the whole product design lifecycle
  2. Strong market research experience, as well as concept development and marketing collaboration
  3. Be confident generating new ideas and pitching these to varying audiences
  4. Ideally have some knowledge of the Facilities Management industry or similar
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge when needed
  6. Ideally have some interest in Sustainability
