Product Designer - 3-Month Contract (with potential for permanent)

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for turning ideas into reality? A dynamic and forward-thinking manufacturing business in Doncaster is looking for a Product Designer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract, with strong potential to transition into a full-time role.

This is not your typical engineering role — we're looking for someone who thrives on conceptual design, visual storytelling, and creative ideation. You'll work closely with internal departments to bring a variety of in-house product ideas to life, utilizing the business's impressive workshop and manufacturing capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Collaborating with the team to generate and develop new product concepts
2. Designing visually compelling concepts and mockups that align with in-house capabilities
3. Working with production, marketing, and technical teams to evolve ideas into manufacturable products
4. Preparing presentations, visuals, and design assets for internal and external use

What We're Looking For:

1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar product design role
2. Strong creative flair with an ability to think outside the box
3. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
5. A passion for design and an understanding of how to bring ideas to life within real-world constraints
6. No engineering background required - just a strong design eye and concept-driven approach
