JMDA Design – UK Office · Pershore, Worcestershire is seeking a Product Design Engineer to contribute across the product development process, turning concepts into robust, production-ready designs.

The role requires proven SolidWorks expertise, and experience delivering manufacture-ready parts and assemblies, with the ability to balance aesthetics and engineering. Join a small, close-knit team working on products for international brands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in consultancy or in-house product development
• Experience delivering manufactured parts and assemblies
• SolidWorks 3D CAD for models and assemblies
• Knowledge of plastics, materials and tooling
• Understanding DFM and tooling processes
• Experience prototyping, testing, proving feasibility
• In-person collaboration in a small team

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development from concept to production-ready design
• Engineer robust, manufacture-ready parts and assemblies using SolidWorks 3D CAD
• Balance aesthetics and engineering requirements with the design team
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation to prove design feasibility
• Take ownership of projects and help ensure deadlines are met
