Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Product Design Engineer with SolidWorks expertise to join a rapidly growing, award-winning company in Sheffield. You will design, test, and continuously improve bespoke cleaning products, contributing to ergonomic and manufacturable solutions.

You will work with a collaborative team using SolidWorks for advanced parts modelling, DFM, and CAD to drive product development from concept through to production, with training and progression opportunities

Qualifications

• SolidWorks experience for advanced parts modelling.
• Experience with designing parts for manufacturing (DFM).
• Proven ability to iteratively improve product designs for reliability and ergonomics.

Product Design Engineer (SolidWorks)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Company Bonus + Training + Progression

Sheffield

Are you a Product Design Engineer with SolidWorks experience, looking to join a rapidly developing and award-winning company offering a varied and interesting role where you will design, continuously improve, and test bespoke products?

In this role you will be using SolidWorks for advanced parts modelling, designing parts for manufacturing, and continuously improve designs to ensure products are reliable and ergonomic. You will be joining a collaborative, tight-knit team as you assist in the development of high‑end cleaning products.

This role would suit a Product Design Engineer with SolidWorks experience, with DFM and modelling experience, looking to join a company that encourages innovation and involvement.

The Role

• Conceptualising and designing parts for products
• Work alongside a team of Engineers to handle products from concept to completion
• Continuously improve designs

Monday - Thursday; 8:30 - 5, Friday: 4:30
