Product Design Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Excellent Benefits

Factory-Based, Commutable from: Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Wakefield, Rothwell

Are you a Product Design Engineer looking to progress your career within a niche industry, joining a UK leading manufacturing company?

Excellent opportunity to get onboard with a company who will enable you to develop your technical skillset, whilst progressing your career within design.

You will be working for a well-established company with a great reputation for their innovation, quality of work and investment into their skilled team of Engineers.

You will be working closely with suppliers and the internal teams to develop innovative new products, develop comprehensive BOM costings and ensure designs are optimised for manufacturing capabilities.

The Role:

1. Developing new designs.
2. Working closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure products align with industry standards.
3. Conducting prototyping, testing and design validation to ensure product quality.
4. 8:30am-5pm Mon - Thurs, 8:30am - 4:30pm Fri.

The Person:

1. Experience in CAD and SolidWorks (3D Design).
2. Understanding of manufacturing processes.
3. Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
