Product Design Configuration Engineer

Based at a global Manufacturer near Desford

24 month contract opportunity (4 week notice period)

PAYE rate GBP22.20 (plus 35 days holiday pay per annum and pension contribution) OR an umbrella rate of GBP30.50 (holiday/ pension/ employer costs included)

The opportunity:

Are you an Engineer keen to work with a global manufacturer of Off Highway Machinery? Do you understand the design process and are up for the challenge of becoming a direct link from the Machines built in the factory to what is put out in to the field for Customers?

If so, this is a unique opportunity to do just that! So if you have a solid understanding of the change control processes, knowledge of Teamcenter and (ideally) Creo 3D CAD system and a superb attention to detail we want to hear from you!

In brief what you will do:

• Review engineering change data and documentation to ensure compliance with change management policies

• Communicate and coordinate changes with wider business functions

• Prepare configuration documentation required to support product development

• Support machine product groups in corporate engineering systems and process improvement projects.

Working with very experienced Engineers, as a Product Configuration Engineer what skills will you gain from this opportunity?
