Job summary

Belcan is supporting a leader in Aviation by recruiting a Product Definition Integration Manager for a 12-month contract, located in Filton or Broughton with hybrid working arrangements.

You will operate across Wing programs in Digital Integration and CM lifecycle support, coordinating with Engineering, Program, Airworthiness and other functions to ensure time, cost and quality deliverables are met.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Aeronautical degree preferred or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with executive-level interaction.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support 1AW digital revolution strategy and play an active role to improve it as necessary.
• Manage workload capacity/priorities to ensure no risk to Aircraft delivery
• Manage Engineering Change Process deliverables (stakeholder management)
• Engineering co-ordination of SB (Service Bulletin) dispatch dates for In Service Mods
• Manage Engineering Change activities for the lifecycle of the A/C.
• Provide support to the Multi Functional Team to apply the Processes and Methods correctly.
• Champion Best Practice and Lessons Learnt within the company wide community.
• Opportunity to cross train and support the DMU (Digital Mock Up) team activities
• Opportunity to cross train and support the extended Digital Wing team in digitalisation / automation activities

Description of the Job

Belcan are supporting one of the leaders in Aviation with their search for a Product Definition Integration Manager. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Product Definition Integrator within the Digital Wing team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Wing. The position can be located in either Filton or Broughton.

You will be working in a cross function Integration role across all Wing programs. Activities will include Digital Integration, CM integration throughout the lifecycle of the Aircraft working closely with the Engineering, Program, Airworthiness and all supporting functions.

Mission

Support Product Definition Integration Management activities ensuring process adherence in line with time, cost and quality deliverables

Provide cross Program support including Digital in line with business needs

Responsibilities

Main challenges

• Cross functional collaboration to achieve required timescales with a right first time approach.
• New toolset development and rollout mainly within the Config Management Scope
• Creating and supporting a consistent approach for 1AW to improve efficiency for cross program working.
• Promote autonomous problem solving for the process or toolset issues
• Prioritise workload peaks to support Aircraft delivery and Step planning

Required Skills, & Experience

• Engineering/Aeronautical degree preferred / HNC or equivalent
• Excellent stakeholder management. You will have a strong professional network (experts, architects, programmes, domains, Finance, Procurement, commercial, strategy etc)
• Excellent communication / presentation skills with the ability to provide clarity and present to executive level stakeholders
