Ready to transform the future of travel with Amadeus? ?

Are you a talented Product Definition Analyst with a passion for aviation technology and operational efficiency? At Amadeus, we’re on a mission to deliver a seamless and personalized passenger experience, optimize airport operations, and automate disruption resolution across airlines, airports, border control, and air traffic control. Join our Flight, Baggage & Ramp (FBR) department within Airops (AOP) – a leading platform in airline and airport operations.

This is your chance to play a key role in supporting mission-critical systems like Flight Management – part of the Amadeus Altea Departure Control System – and shaping how aircraft weight and balance, baggage handling, and ramp operations evolve to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

Who We Are:

  • Leaders in revolutionizing the travel industry through innovative, end-to-end solutions.
  • A global team combining expertise, reliability, and cutting-edge technology to transform traditional travel processes.
  • Continuously growing and expanding with the latest technological advancements, including a fully cloud-native platform

Our Mission:

  • Provide seamless travel experiences that benefit both travelers and businesses through advanced technology.
  • Deliver faster, more flexible solutions to airlines, hotels, travel sellers, and corporations worldwide.
  • Shape the future of travel by optimizing the travel ecosystem with data-driven services and innovative solutions.

Now, let’s talk about you!

As a Product Definition Analyst on the Galaxy Express 999 SAFe Agile team, you’ll collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, the Product Owner, and Scrum Master to support the development and evolution of the Flight Management product – a safety-critical system with high operational impact. You’ll work cross-functionally to turn complex business needs into functional solutions and ensure product quality, stability, and compliance.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, maintain deep functional knowledge, and translate requirements into actionable product concepts.

  • Drive functional design: Create and manage essential documentation (e.g., Feasibility Studies, Product Specs), and ensure system compatibility across Amadeus applications.

  • Ensure quality and compliance: Contribute to test strategies, validate functionality, and maintain system integrity by analyzing and prioritizing production incidents.

  • Collaborate across teams: Act as a key liaison with internal teams and customers throughout the product lifecycle—from requirements to testing and implementation.

  • Support product rollout and maintenance: Assist in product promotion, provide cutover and incident support, and maintain a safety-first approach to ensure operational stability and customer satisfaction.

What we're seeking:

  • Experience & Skills: Product management experience, with a strong understanding of business/functional analysis, and expertise in business automation (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Platform Mindset: Experience managing platform capabilities, understanding how they support consumers in building or enriching products
  • Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly across technical and non-technical forums
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in uncertain, evolving contexts, and able to lead transformation efforts with strong initiative and accountability
