Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Private Bank Legal Group – Product Lawyer in London to support the brokerage trading desks across the EMEA Private Bank. You will handle derivatives, structured products, and cash trading issues, advising on end-to-end processes and models for flow OTC and exchange-traded derivatives.

You will liaise with the business, regulators, and external advisers, covering regulatory and product development matters for a global private bank.

Qualifications

• England-qualified lawyer with at least 4 years’ experience.
• Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities across derivatives and structured products.
• Proven ability to advise on UK/EU regulation and financial market practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on derivatives, structured products, cash trading and related private bank activities.
• Draft and negotiate trading and structuring documents; advise on regulatory compliance (EMIR, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank).
• Collaborate with trading desks, Compliance, Risk, and external advisers across EMEA and other regions.
