Product Coordinator, Performance Materials

Fixed term contract (up to 12 months)

Duties

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Coordinator to join the Performance Materials Northern EMEA team. In addition to supporting Product Managers in the tactical activities required for developing the product portfolio, achieving the agreed growth targets you will also be managing your own portfolio of suppliers.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Management of your individual portfolio.
  • Support the Product Managers by keeping their product portfolio’s correct and up to date across all systems including codes, documentation, and pricing.
  • Maintain supplier pricing on SAP and sales pricing on Q.
  • Work closely with other functions such as technical, EHS&Q, supply chain, sales and customer service in order to drive the business.
  • Build relationships with suppliers.
  • Work with Product Managers in order to support pricing and development strategy implementation.
  • Co-ordinate and manage leads forwarded from suppliers.
  • Compiling market data for Product Managers and attending supplier meetings where applicable.
  • Member of wider Performance Materials Northern Region S&PM team.

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience of a commercial, fast moving, business environment. The role will also provide the opportunity for a suitable candidate to join the Performance Materials Supplier and Product Management team and develop a career within this function and FI global business unit. SAP experience is beneficial, but training will be provided. Strong communication skills are essential including the ability to influence and build strong relationships both internally and externally. Self-disciplined, possessing the ability to work as part of a team and individually. The capability to work under pressure and control a continually changing workload, prioritising appropriately and managing own time effectively.
