My client is recruiting a Product Consultant who speaks fluent German to work in their Group Department that deals with German speaking clients.

We feel the role would be perfect for a recently graduated student that has studied tourism management. The role is also open for candidates that specialize in inbound travel to the UK with the salary being negotiable.

My client is recruiting a new member of staff to join their team that will be customer focused, friendly with an outgoing personality to build the client base. In the role, you must come across confident and persuasive.

Due to dealing with German speaking clients, being fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Key responsibilities
  • Maximise sales by converting enquiries into bookings
  • Match client requirements
  • Calculate the price of the offers
  • Regularly follow up on the offers you have made to ensure that client expectations are more than met
  • Be responsible for a portfolio of existing clients with whom you will develop a professional relationship.
  • Actively expand the client base and seek new business in order to achieve growth targets.
  • Attend trade fairs and clients’ sales events
  • Be alert to trends and potential opportunities and feed this information back to the Product Manager in a concise and readily understandable format.
Knowledge and experience required:
  • A passion for destinations in Great Britain and Ireland
  • Must have a great team spirit
  • Relevant education in tourism or business administration (e.g. apprenticeship or studies)
  • Experience in group or coach travel (e.g. work placements)
  • A positive attitude
