ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Product Compliance Officer to join a thriving international science and technology company that provides infection prevention and control solutions to the healthcare sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a regulatory compliance background and scientific understanding to become an integral part of a dynamic technical department. The role offers the chance to develop a highly transferable skill set across a diverse range of products, supporting the company’s efforts in environmental hygiene and hazardous waste management.

This position involves working within a fast-paced environment that has played a vital role in supporting health services, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Product Compliance Officer will be key to maintaining and advancing product regulatory compliance in the face of a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full ownership of product regulatory compliance, establishing, monitoring, and adhering to regulations.
• Act as the official company representative for product regulatory compliance, declaring and evidencing compliance to external parties.
• Advise on product-related activities including sourcing, development, composition, packaging, labelling, and marketing.
• Horizon scan for upcoming regulatory changes and create effective action plans to address these.
• As the Product Compliance Officer, you will assist with domestic and European product registrations and set up safety data sheet software for current and new products.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• A Degree or higher level in a chemical discipline (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management for QA roles).
• Proven experience working in a regulatory compliance role, ideally for chemical products, including REACH and CLP regulations.
• Successful track record creating safety data sheets for formulated chemical mixtures.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
