Job summary

Talentmark are recruiting a Chemical Compliance Officer to join a global materials manufacturing company near Stevenage on a full-time, permanent basis. The role centers on owning product regulatory compliance, establishing and monitoring regulations, and acting as the company representative for regulatory matters.

You will advise on packaging, labeling, sourcing and development activities, author external documents, and liaise with regulators and consultants.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in a chemical discipline.
• At least 3 years working in a regulatory compliance role.
• At least 2 years of regulatory experience with chemical products, including REACH and CLP regulations.
• Own a car and have a clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of product regulatory compliance, establishing, monitoring and adhering to product regulations.
• Official company representative for product regulatory compliance.
• Advising on product related activities including sourcing and development such as composition, packaging, labelling and marketing.
• Authoring external documents and communications.
