We’re looking for a Product Compliance Manager to join Lindy Electronics Ltd, based at our Thornaby head office. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure our IT and AV product ranges comply with international regulations while embedding eco-friendly and circular economy principles across the product lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with colleagues in Product Management, Technical, QC, Sales, Marketing and our global suppliers to make sure compliance is never an afterthought — but built into everything we do. This is a role where you’ll combine technical expertise with collaboration, helping us deliver safe, lawful, and future-ready products.

What you'll be doing:
  • Managing global product compliance (REACH, RoHS, CE/UKCA, FCC, CP65, TSCA, PFAS, and others).
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation, including REACH Docstore and SCIP database.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Technical, QC, Sales, Marketing, and suppliers worldwide.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives, including packaging, batteries, ESPR and circular economy regulations.
  • Embedding compliance into new product introductions (NPI) from the start.
  • Producing compliance documentation (CE, UKCA, manuals, declarations).
  • Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support external audits, stakeholder engagement, and provide compliance training to colleagues and partners.
What we're looking for:
  • Strong knowledge of global product compliance regulations.
  • Experience in sustainability regulations (packaging, batteries, ESPR) and ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Understanding of IT/AV equipment and technologies.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management (LCM) and new product introductions.
  • Great organisational and risk assessment skills, with attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating across departments and with international partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint)
