BAT in Southampton is seeking a Product Competitor Intelligence Manager to deliver timely product insights from public data, shaping strategy across new technologies and categories. British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a Product Competitor Intelligence Manager in Southampton The aim of the role is to deliver business relevant competitor product insights in a timely and sustainable way, supported by public domain information and in line with the objectives of our business strategy. The role requires a self-starter, who will develop competitor product insights via a clear process and can demonstrate the ability to manage both complex technical detail and be able to leverage advanced search to uncover competitor insights externally. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively to different partner levels in both written and presentation form, supported by strong analytical skills, product development knowledge and ideally cross category experience within BAT or other industries. Moreover, this role is responsible to expand the capability in line with demand from new categories, ensuring the delivery of scientific solutions that are fit for purpose.
