Job summary

Lockton is seeking a Product Owner / Analyst to bridge clients and technical teams and deliver innovative insurance products. You will lead requirements gathering, document business processes, and help prioritise the product backlog within an Agile environment.

The role focuses on collaborating with stakeholders, translating needs into user stories, and driving improvements across product roadmaps and delivery plans. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in insurance or financial services is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
• Gather, validate, and prioritise business and user requirements.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, business users, and technical teams; support backlog prioritisation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
• Capture and communicate user and client feedback to inform product improvements.
• Contribute to roadmaps and delivery plans.

We are seeking a Product Owner/Business Analyst to work with our team to deliver products that innovate and evolve the insurance industry. You will take the lead on bridging the gap between clients and our technical teams to build innovative applications to revolutionise the way Lockton transact business

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and document outcomes effectively.
• Analyse, map, and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of product roadmaps and delivery plans.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Software Engineering role.
• Proven experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies.
• Hands‑on experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience within the insurance or financial services sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
• Ability to balance business priorities with technical considerations to support successful product delivery.
