Exciting Opportunity: Product Assurance Engineer, Manufacturing

Rate: £35PH Via an umbrella company

Location: Stevenage

Duration: 6-months (extension Possible)

About The Role

As the Product Assurance Engineer, Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company\'s manufacturing processes and outputs meet the highest standards of quality. Reporting to the Product Assurance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice and support on all aspects of quality within the company\'s manufacturing operations
  • Developing and delivering quality awareness training to the manufacturing team
  • Assessing and controlling product assurance quality processes to support cost, time, and quality targets
  • Conducting independent audits and assessments to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with quality assurance colleagues across the organisation to drive continuous improvement

What We\'re Looking For

To be successful in this Product Assurance Engineer, Manufacturing role, you will need:

  • Minimum HNC/HND qualification in a relevant subject
  • Extensive experience in process-based integrated management systems and business improvement in an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in using risk management and problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5Y, and PFMEA
  • Strong auditing skills and a deep understanding of EN9100/AS9100 requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities
  • A self-motivated and persistent approach to delivering results
