Job description

We are looking for a Product Assistant to supports the Product team. You will be assisting the product manager with the execution of NPD & core product development.

We're looking for someone who is trend-savvy, a digital native, and genuinely passionate about beauty and social media. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products stay ahead of trends and resonate with our audience.

This role is fast-paced, ever-changing, and requires a team member who is confident in self-managing and prioritising tasks, working to tight deadlines, while maintaining a consistent level of productivity and output.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Product Manager/Junior Product Manager with new product development (NPD).
  • Monitor product & suppliers CPA’s (critical path management). Ensure timelines of product development are met & update manager on any supplier delays or changes to products weekly.
  • They will work with team from concept to launch of new products. Involved in brainstorming, trend research, briefing, sampling, testing & launching new products.
  • Product focused bring and put forward ideas for new products, trends.
  • Competitor & market aware. Looking at pricing/offer and newness.
  • Support the product & brand team in identifying key product, social & global trends. Be market aware & trend reactive. Create where needed new in trend reports, competitor reports.
  • Assist Product Manager with shade work and product development where required. Concepts, shade work, ideation & overall product development.
  • Oversee product & business sample management. Working with the supply base and warehouse teams to ensure samples arrive on time. Supporting other teams with sample requests including the photography, sales & trade marketing teams.
  • E-commerce imagery approval & support photography/content teams.
  • Supplier focused work with product supply base to ensure key deadlines are met. Weekly CPA tracking and updating teams.
  • Update Product and commercial packs with up-to-date information and imagery of products.
  • Assist and complete handover forms & sign off packs of new product information to the business.
  • License & Collaboration support – assist with licensed concepts, uploads and approvals
  • Work alongside product design and compliance technical teams on artwork & product design.

What you’ll have:

  • Needs to be passionate about beauty be trend driven and have active social engagement.
  • High level of Microsoft office knowledge needed. PowerPoint & Excel proficient.
  • Highly organised, adaptable with the ability to multitask.
  • Confident and able to put forward ideas & be innovative.
  • Team player happy to work alongside brand team & with other cross functional teams in the business.
  • Driven and focused able to work to deadlines.
