Role Overview

We are looking for someone with top-notch design skills, who is not afraid to get into technical details and is an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with our global team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Leads, and Test Leads to enhance functionality, add new features, and improve non-functional specifications.
2. Provide customer-facing support during product implementation and deployment.
3. Gain insights into the travel industry and help us stay ahead of the curve.
4. Architect and develop solutions with the Engineering teams, translating business requirements into system-level design and detailed technical architecture documents.
5. Lead the implementation team to deliver products according to customer requirements, making architectural decisions and following best practices.
6. Maintain industry standards and collaborate on platform improvement initiatives.
7. Analyze system performance in production and evaluate enhancements for performance and cost efficiency.
8. Ensure all non-functional requirements are met and contribute to long-term product development.
9. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement activities.
10. Provide consultancy services to customers during product implementation.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Experience as a Technical Architect, Technical Lead, or Software Architect.
2. Hands-on software development experience.
3. Experience in e-commerce, high transaction volume, or mission-critical systems.
4. Strong leadership and design skills, including knowledge of technical, logical, business, and data architecture.
5. Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.
6. Creativity and the ability to produce high-quality design documentation.
7. Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Knowledge of web-based, service-based, and enterprise application architecture.
10. Proficiency in technologies such as Java, J2EE, SOA, JBoss, Tomcat, JDBC, SOAP, REST, OOD/OOA, Cloud (AWS & Azure), and databases like Oracle and MongoDB.
