About The Role

At allpay we are a leading provider of payment solutions in the UK, working across both public and private sectors to deliver secure, innovative and efficient payment services. As we continue to expand and diversify our offering, we are looking for a Product and Market Insights Director to work alongside Board members todrive the strategic direction of our product suite within the Fintech and Banking sector. This is a pivotal role that will also blend in Market Analysis and Intelligence to ensure the business can make the best commercial decisions based on competitor moves and emerging market trends.

You will be a strategic partner to the Board and Management Executive Team, ensuring our decisions are underpinned by rigorous external insight and forward-looking analysis.

Some of the key responsibilities in this role are to:

  • Be the main product representative into the board, delivering clear insights, performance updates and strategic proposals.
  • Provide timely market insights into the Board to inform major product and commercial decisions.
  • Deliver analysis and recommendations on product positioning, market entry, pricing and customer segmentation.
  • Continuously monitor and interpret fintech market dynamics, competitor moves, emerging technologies and regulatory developments.
  • Lead and grow a highperforming product team, fostering a culture of accountability, commercial understanding, innovation and excellence.
  • Coach and mentor the Strategy and Market intelligence Lead role making recommendations on this function as the business moves forward.
  • Collaborate and build excellent relationships with the Board and across the wider business.

About You

About You:

  • Proven experience of delivering results in the boardroom and engaging stakeholders at all levels in the business.
  • Significant experience in product strategy, market intelligence or insight roles within fintech, banking or payments.
  • The ability to turn market insights into pragmatic and tangible actions that can add value to the allpay proposition.
  • Strong background in both B2B and consumer product environments.
  • Be data driven and customer centric, with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Have experience navigating regulatory environments and delivering compliant solutions in the UK financial landscape.
