Job description

Who we are:

We're one of Europe's fastest-growing fintech companies – on a mission to create the world's most empowering way to pay.

We launched the product in 2020 and achieved double unicorn status, valued at $2 billion, and since then have taken on more than 6 million customers.

Our mission is to become the best way to pay for anything, anywhere and say goodbye to credit costs for everyone. This is huge. Want to join us?

About The Role.

You will lead a team of ~3-4 product analysts for our Customer Growth and Lifecycle domain, owning narrative and insights and driving sustainable customer customer growth. You will be a thought partner with a Director of Product and you will influence roadmap and product decisions, and also work cross-functionally day-to-day with Marketing, Risk, Finance and the rest of Data.

The scope runs from acquisition source and sign-up, through credit approval, activation, repeat usage, arrears behaviour, retention, and cohort profitability. You'll need to be as comfortable talking about loss rates and payback periods as you are about conversion funnels and retention curves, and tie everything we’re doing to commercial outcomes.

You will be a hands-on leader solving some of the most complex customer and business problems, while also managing a team of ~3-4 product analysts. You will be someone who thrives at using complex data and intuition to drive business outcomes, ensuring data is a core driver of company strategy.

What you’ll be doing day to day.
  • Own the analytics strategy for the Customer Lifecycle domain - from acquisition quality through activation, retention, and cohort profitability - translating the company-wide analytics vision into a focused plan for your team.
  • Operate horizontally across Lifecycle squads: your analysts are already embedded, so your job is to connect the dots, spot patterns across teams, and ensure the collective effort ladders up to domain commercial goals.
  • Know the key commercial drivers inside out - cohort payback, contribution margin, funnel economics, risk-adjusted value - so you can direct work with conviction and challenge outputs with authority.
  • Build experimentation capability within the domain pragmatically - establish clear hypotheses, decision criteria, and honest readouts as the norm for your teams.
  • Increase stakeholder self-sufficiency through dashboards and shared frameworks - freeing your analysts from reactive requests and shifting their time towards high-value proactive work.
  • Grow and focus your team - coach analysts, raise the technical bar, and create clarity on what good looks like for the domain.
  • Be the primary analytics partner for Lifecycle product leadership - earning trust by consistently surfacing what matters, not just what's been asked for.
  • Raise the standard of evidence in domain product decisions - moving from opinion-led to evidence-led, one decision at a time.
What We're Looking For.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and embrace change as an opportunity.
  • 6+ years in product analytics or insight-focussed roles (start-up or scale-up pace) and 2+ years leading a team of analysts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex findings succinctly.
  • You're comfortable with credit risk concepts: loss rates, approval rates, unit economics. You don't need to be a risk modeller, but you can't be allergic to the topic.
  • Strong technical foundation in analytics with advanced SQL. You can model data, design experiments, and have a proper technical conversation if required.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels, able to 'zoom in' on critical insights while maintaining a holistic view.
  • You've built experimentation programmes - not just run one-off tests, but established how a team thinks about evidence.
  • You're opinionated about what matters, but you update your views when the data says otherwise.
Bonus skills.
  • Experience in payments, regulated environments, or financial environments.
  • You've worked with Snowflake, dbt, Looker, or a similar modern stack.
