Base pay range

We are seeking a new Product Analyst role that is key to our outcome-driven product culture. You will partner with product squads to build the analytical foundation that connects work to measurable results. Your purpose is to empower our teams with the data needed to understand merchant behaviour, validate strategic roadmap items, and ultimately drive the success of both our business and our merchants.

In this role, you will also act as a key analytical resource for the wider organisation, providing data-driven perspectives to support broader business initiatives as time permits.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background and demonstrated experience collaborating with various stakeholder levels. Previous experience within a financial services company, specifically in the payment services industry, and/or in fintech, is highly desirable.

What You'll Do: Key Roles and Responsibilities

Define and Measure Outcomes:

  • Work with product squads to define a hierarchy of metrics, from high-level KPIs to granular feature-level metrics, for every new feature.
  • Design, build, and own the central product dashboards in our BI tools (e.g., Looker / Grafana) to serve as the single source of truth for performance.
  • Establish and monitor health metrics to ensure new features don'tnegatively impact core business functions like site performance or user retention.

Drive the Feedback Loop:

  • Champion a culture of experimentation by collaborating with product and engineering to design and instrument A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Define the hypothesis, sample size, and success metrics for each experiment to ensure statistical significance.
  • Analyse experiment results, clearly communicating not just what happened, but why, and providing a definitive recommendation to ship, iterate, or kill the feature.

Generate Strategic Insights:

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into complex business problems like user churn, merchant lifetime value, or the drivers of user engagement.
  • Identify patterns and trends in the data that reveal unseen challenges or opportunities.
  • Present your findings as compelling narratives to senior leadership to influence long-term product and business strategy.

Develop the Measurement Framework:

  • You will be responsible for developing and owning the dashboards, funnels, and data models that track performance and user engagement.
