We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the planning and delivery of digital and technology solutions across the business. Working under the guidance of a senior delivery lead, you will help gather, structure, and document business and user needs, ensuring that the development team has clear, concise information to deliver from.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone developing their skills in digital delivery, analysis, or product development. You will play a key part in the successful delivery of technology changes by ensuring user needs are well understood and clearly defined.

This is a hybrid role based in Barton-Upon-Humber, with occasional travel to other Wren locations as needed.

About The Role

Working under the guidance of a senior delivery lead, you will help gather, structure, and document business and user needs, ensuring that the development team has clear, concise information to deliver from.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone developing their skills in digital delivery, analysis, or product development. You will play a key part in the successful delivery of technology changes by ensuring user needs are well understood and clearly defined.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in capturing and clarifying business and user requirements through workshops, interviews, and discussions.
  • Support the translation of goals into clear documentation such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with team leads, developers, and testers to ensure requirements are well understood and ready for development.
  • Maintain up-to-date and well-structured documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Help monitor work progress and contribute to team activities like backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
  • Assist in gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to inform future work.
  • Work with senior delivery staff to ensure priorities and context are clearly communicated.

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You
  • Some experience working within a digital or IT team, ideally in a support, analysis, or delivery coordination role.
  • Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to document and explain ideas clearly.
  • An interest in how technology is delivered and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Comfortable using tools like Excel, Word, and (ideally) platforms such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • A willingness to learn about agile delivery practices and contribute to team planning and delivery rhythms.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
